PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Coming to this Country over 35 years ago
I would have never imagined the opportunity this country has
made for my family and myself. Moving to Kitimat was one of
life’s better choices where it granted me the opportunity
in opening a Pereira Home Centre while making many friends in
Kitimat and the North Coast for the last 35 years.
Throughout our years in Kitimat, my wife Lurdes had raised three
children Tony, Betty and Walter. Tony & Walter have made
the lower mainland their new home while Betty has made Kitimat
her permanent home with husband Nelson and Kids Quinton and
Matthew, while managing our family store.
A lot has changed over the years in the Furniture & Appliance
business but one thing remains consistent at Pereira’s,
a family based company which supports a hometown pride.
I would like to thank all of our customers, and now friends,
for over 35 glorious years in business. We look forward in serving
you all in the near future.
